Triumph Repair: 1975 Triumph Spitfire, switsh, triumph spitfire

I have a 1975 Spitfire that has a little problem with the headlights.  Sometimes they go on with the switch on and sometimes they don't go on at all.  If the switsh is turned on while driving and I go over a bump they occasionally turn on.  Could there be a loose wire somewhere?  Thank You.

Hi Jeff,
Yes that is quite possible. You need to take a test light when it is in it's failed mode and take a wiring diagram and start at the lights and start testing with a test light working your way back towards the battery. If you don't have a wiring diagram, let me know and I will put one on my web site for you to copy.
