Triumph Repair: electrical, fuel gauge, fuse box

Question
QUESTION: I know another electrical problem.....I have lost tach, turn
signals, wipers and not sure if anything else.  I have
replaced the "voltage regulator" but did not help at all.  I
think the problem is in the Tach itself.  If I understand
the schematic power from the tach goes to the regulator and
then to the accessories.  Any input would be appreciated.

ANSWER: Hi John,
What kind of car is this?

QUESTION: Oh sorry, 1978 Spitfire

Answer
Hi John,
First thing to check is the green wire on the tach for power with the key on. Then check the fuse box and clean the fuses with Emory cloth or sand paper and clean the tabs that hold the fuses as they are noted for bad connections.

No, the tach has nothing to do with the voltage regulator which is inside of the alternator. You may be talking about the voltage stabilizer that powers only the temp gauge and fuel gauge.
