Triumph Repair: 1979 Triumph TR7 front wheel camber, wheel camber, triumph tr7

Question
Howard,

Vehicle is 1979 Triumph TR7 convertible - stock configuration.  Thanks for all the help so far!  I've now got the engine running very strong and have resolved my clutch releasing issue with your help.  It is great to be driving the car again!

My next issue to tackle is front wheel camber.  I have noticeable negative camber (top of wheel tilts in toward the car).  I have not measured the degree, but it is noticeable to the naked eye.  Due to low miles on the tires, I can't comment on tire wear.

I cannot find any method for adjustment, so I am guessing I have some worn front suspension parts that need to be inspected/replaced.  Any thoughts on what to look for or how to address this issue.

Thanks again!
Vito

Answer
Hi Vito,
You need to look closely at the lower ball joint and the suspension arm for excess ware in the ball joint or in any of the suspension arm bushings. Then check the strut to see if it is bent. There is no adjustment that can be out of adjustment.
