Triumph Repair: MKI Voltage Stabilizer, tracer wire, fuse box

Question
There is no voltage stabilizer behind my speedo or anyplace nearby.  Where should I look?  I have a 1965 MKI Spitfire and both the gas gage and tem gage do not work.  Thank you

Hi Greg,
The Mk I and II have the stabilizer mounted on the back of the speedometer itself and should have a double green wire and a light green w/green tracer wire on it. The light green w/green tracer wire is not very long so you can just trace it back from the two gauges to the voltage stabilizer. Power comes to the stabilizer from the fuse box.
