Triumph Repair: tr7 electrical, hartville ohio, bentley guide

Question
1. I got my tr7 out of storage of about 20 years,

  cleaned all the connections at the headlights.

  The high, low beam switch at the turn signal is

  acting as the on and off switch for the lights.

  And the lights on & off switch ,at the dash is acting

  as the high and low beam switch.

  I have no turn signals and no back up lights. All the

  fuses are good, I havr no way of checking the relays

2. Whats the torque spec for the cylender head bolts

3. Whats the valve lash for the intake and exhaust

   valves, I bent 2 intake valves when I checked it out

   to start it. valves were stuck open

5.  Thank you very much, I'm at a stand still and need

 to get that car going

Answer
1) it sounds like you reversed the lines when you cleaned the connectors; get a wiring diagram for your year of car to set it straight and find out why you don't have other lights

2) I don't have a book that has TR7 torque specs; The haynes guide or bentley guide that you would get for the wiring diagram should have that information

3) Same as 2;

Sorry I can't be of more help; when a car has been sitting for that long; you best go through everything in detail before trying to get it on the road;
