Triumph Repair: rear bearings, rear wheel bearings, rear bearings

hi i am rebuilding a mkiv spitfire i am replacing the rear wheel bearings can you tell me the measurements of the bearings on the driveshaft so i can reassemble

Hi Jeffrey,
The outer wheel /axle bearings are large roller bearings that run on the axle itself and are available from most of the Spitfire parts companies. I doubt you can find them from a bearing company. It would not matter if you could because every time the bearings go out the axle needs to be replaced too. At least every one I replaced needed both. I have no data as to the size of the rollers.
Good luck on getting the hub off too, not many of the Triumph hub pullers left.
