Auto body repair & detailing: 96Saturn SL2, fog lamp, there some kind

Question
Hello: I have badly cracked the front left corner of my bumper just below where the fog lamp would go ( I didn't go for the fog lamp option).
Anyway,I have been quoted $650 for repairs at a local bodyshop,or $750 for a new bumper.
As the damage is not that noticable, and the pieces are not separated from the rest of the bumper,I was wondering if I could put some kind of fibre glass backing behind the bumper to support the shattered area, and pull the pieces together until the fibre glass set.If I can get the pieces close enough together,it would be hard to tell there was damage. Is there some kind of fibre glass or epoxy patch I could put behind the bumper myself? I could work through the hole where the fog lamp would have gone. The little cover is missing over the area where the fog lamp would go.
Thanks!

Answer
Duromix and fusior both have very good products for what you need. Either one will work. But you need to rough up the back of the bumper to apply it. After you apply it put some netting in the product for strength. This stuff can be bought at any good automotive supply store. you will pob.still see a few cracks.

     Hope this helps
