Triumph Repair: Triumph keys, Triumph, Spitfire

I have a 78 spitfire,and I lost the keys a year ago.Could you PLEASE let me know if you find someone who can make a set,as I haven"t had any luck with that.Thank you much,Tom

A good locksmith should be able to make a key for you.  It's worth calling around and getting quotes.  

There are vendors that can sell you new locks with keys.  A lot of work but it's another avenue to explore.  A good list of vendors is on the Vintage Triumph Register website (www.VTR.org).

Third option is to order a British Motor Industy Heritage Trust Certificate, it will list the key codes for car as it was originally built.  There are locksmiths that can cut keys by code.  This of course assumes that no one has ever changed the locks on the car during the past 31 years, not always a safe assumption.
