Triumph Repair: pistons and crankshaft spitfire 1500, roadster factory, moss motors

I´m a Portuguese owner spitfire 1500 and I want modified and I want forged pistons and a tutffrited crankshaft.However I don´t know where can buy it.Can you help me? Thanks.Jorge Abreu

Hi Jorge,
There are several parts companies that sell competition parts for Spitfires as well as stock parts. Moss Motors, The Roadster Factory,  Victoria British, Engel Imports and British Parts North West. to name a few. As far as forged pistons there are many piston manufactures that can make a forged piston to your specs. I don't know about the crank treatment, you may just have to do a Internet search to see who does that but contact the above companies first. They all have web sites and E-Mail to contact them with.
