I heard about a 'desmog' proceedure for the car.   Do you know of any additional resources?   I'd like to get as much out of this engine as possible )if that's possible..

Hi James,
Most of the emission control components on a TR-7 do not distract from performance. So removing the components will not increase performance. You first need to check with your local emissions laws to see what if anything you can do.
I can only advise you how to make the car increase it's performance if you are taking it off of street use. Removing emission control components will not net you any noticeable horse power.
