Triumph Repair: Rear Brakes on 1979 Spit, needle nose pliers, rear brakes

Question
Technic to install rear brake show upper spring. Is there a tool? Or can I fab one?

Answer
I've always used a stiff pair of needle nose pliers & lever arm.

Back the adjuster nut all the way out so there is no addition tension on the bottom of the shoes.
Put the brake shoes in the axle, but do not insert them into their "home" in the wheel cylinder.
Hook the springs into their respective holes on the brake shoes with the needle nose.  There won't be alot or any tension.
Use the pry bar to, one at a time, lever the ends of the shoes into their notches on the cylinder and adjuster.
