QUESTION: What kind of adhesive is used for securing the new crash pad to the metal body underneath? Does the paint have to be sanded to appy the adhesive?

Hi Gary,
Bad news, you have to remove the wood dash, the defroster vents, then five nuts and washer holding the crash pad on and you need to remove the windshield frame. However, I believe some of the British parts suppliers use to have a crash pad cover that just glued on over the old one when the original cracked.
