Triumph Repair: BRAKE LIGHTS, e mail address, test light

I have a 1972 spitfire IV. My question when my headlights are on my brake light stop working. They do work when the headlights are off. I cannot seem to location where my troubles are any ideas?? Thanks Josh

Hi Joshua,
First thing you need is a wiring diagram and a test light. Since the brake lights don't work with the head lights are on. Trace the power for the brake lights from the power source to the brake lights while the head lights are on. You will quickly arrive at the problem.
