Triumph Repair: Water Pump leak, cast iron block, running the risk

My water pump start to leak slowy from about two days ago, but I still drive to work and carry water with me. my car takes about 7hours before all the water in the engine leak out. The thing is  i don`t have any money to buy a water pump until next month when i get paid. Can i still drive to work with the leaking water pump and add water before i leave to go home fot the next month

Keep in mind that you have a cast iron block and head.  After a day or two you'll have orange water leaking out... and you are running the risk of overheating the car and doing further damage to the engine.

Other than that... if you need to drive the car you need to drive the car.  Keep in mind that if the seal has failed, the leak may get worse and you'll drain the water faster.
