Triumph Repair: 74 spitfire 1500 lights, hazard switch, oil light

Hi! is the oil light suppose to come on when the igtion key is turned on? and the hazard flaher or the hazard name in the middle of the dash above the steering wheel what is this for when is supposed to light up?  Thank you

Belvin the oil light should come on when the ignition is switched on , but as soon as it starts the pressure hits the switch and it should go out.as for the hazard switch if i remember it looks like a red knob and you pull on it . it should make the flashers operate and pushing it back in turns them off.Dave
