Land Rover Repair: Air Suspension Question 2006 range rover, range rover hse, 2006 range rover hse

Question
Hey John,

Thanks for taking time to respond to my question. I currently own a 2006 range rover hse with 73k miles on the truck. Both the front air bags have been replaced around 3 months ago and couple days ago i received the same error message "Suspension Fault Max Speed 30mph". i checked the height of my car and it seems to be normal (3-4inches off the top of the wheel), and the air compressor seems to be working (it adjusts in the morning time and when i change the height of the vehicle the compressor kicks in to raise/lower the vehicle)

Something i did notice was that the compressor seems like its not on as long as it used to. in the morning it used to be on for like a minute but now its only on for like 10 seconds.

Also i've been getting a lot of ghost faults for my truck. I'm assuming it can be the battery, do you think the suspension fault can be from the battery as well?

My tire pressure light also turned on recently after the suspension fault. Do you know if those can be somehow related. Thanks.

Answer
Air suspension parts start to wear out at that mileage, so you should expect to replace more stuff.  You need to find a shop with the Autologic or IDS test system to properly diagnose the vehicle.  There's no way to tell what's up from home.  The tire monitor has nothing to do with the suspension, and I doubt the suspension problem has to do with the battery but I suppose it's possible.
