Triumph Repair: TR6 Dash, gages, speedo

I'm trying to replace the wooden dash on my 69 TR6. I removed all of the screws but the wood was still being held by something (I suspect the guages, speedo and tach). What do I have to remove to get this thing off?

Hugh, I replaced one along time ago and it is a big job! lable the wires with drawings if you can so you will know exactally where it all goes back, and yes the gages all had to come out along with some of the heater controls if i remember right. Dave
