Triumph Repair: 650 tiger carb. options, kawasaki gpz 550, honda cb 450

Question
I bought a 67 Triumph Tiger chopper as a project. It's all there, except the carburetor. I want to do a stock engine rebuild (650 cc)
What model and size Amal carb. should I use? Is it practical to go to dual carbs? What size and model Mikuni carbs would also work? Any special considerations if using a Mikuni?

Thank you for your time and help.

Answer
Flint, I only do Triumph cars. I do have a 81 KAWASAKI GPZ 550 that i restored and always wanted a Triumph bike. you might look at some of the 80's model HONDAS to compare to . I had a 82 HONDA CB 450 that was a 2 cylinder. it had dual carbs. good luck. dave
