Triumph Repair: Soft Tops, soft tops, mkiv

I have a 1972 MkIV and looking for a soft top.   Locally, there is a Mk3 wrecking.   Will the Mk3 top fit the MkIV?

Sorry, no the Mk3 top is not a direct swap onto the Mk IV/1500 series.  The only difference is in the shape of the upper rear corner of the door glass.  On the Mk3 the door glass has a "rounded" corner while on the later cars it was more pointed.

I went through the same thing with my '73 1500 15 years ago when I first picked it up.
