UK Car Repair: Coolant, mg midget, antifreeze

Question
Hi: I have a 1976 MG midget, but have not had it very long. For antifreeze, is there a particular type to use, or is anything OK.
Thanks

Answer
the reccomended fluid is etyhlene glycol base at 3:1 for the UK (Water:Antifreeze) or stronger for colder climates, you can use 100% coolant if you wish - it removes the risk of corrosion of the cooling system and it cools more efficiently, you just need 3 times as much antifreeze.

So 30% concentration antifreeze to water or better.

If you want perfection use De-Ionised water to mix with.
