UK Car Repair: vauxhall corsa 03 light coming on/electric windows not staying up, vauxhall corsa, light flicker

My son bought this car second hand last week and yesterday the passenger window when it was closed kept opening again about a third way down. Took about 10 attempts till it stayed shut. This morning the passenger front headlight firstly stayed on when lights were switched off but now is randomly coming on by itself. Any ideas whats causing this

first try a new relay for the light.
maybe light switch is worn. does wiggling/tapping the switch make the light flicker? if so change the light switch.

window going down:
tap and wiggle that switch.
same scenario. replace if its touchy.

ermm.. check the condition of all the contacts in the fusebox, pull each and every component one by one, scrape corrosion clean and squash any loose fitting terminals so they grip tight.

And.. check all wiring, behind radio and near interior fusebox. badly wired Alarm could cause this too.  I'm guessing at shorted alarm wiring under the bonnet and/or the alarm itself is broken.
