Questionmy omega 3l estate elite is loosing coolant & i cant find from where i suspect heater matrix how do i check & fix
Answertake off the matrix pipes under the bonnet, block one with a bolt etc, and tighten the clip so it doesn't leak, point the other pipe from the matrix upwards and fill with water, if the water level in the pipe drops it's leaking from the matrix, or maybe the end of the pipe closest to the matrix, not the matrix itself.
Determine this before you purchase a new matrix!
that's a "carlton" estate (in uk anyway) isnt it?
Long job for an amateur/novice, most of the dash has to come out - not to be attempted without at least the manual - on ebay for about £5 + £5 delivery.
