UK Car Repair: Vauxhall Corsa 2000 1.4i battery clamp, vauxhall corsa, vauxhall dealership

Hi, I recently had my battery replaced and the new battery is smaller than the old one and I've been told I'm missing a battery clamp and therefore the new battery could move around. Could you let me know if;
1) could this cause damage to the car/engine?
2) where can I find a replacement part and how do I  know what it looks like (not being having one to reference it too!)?

Hiya Lucy, I don't think the loose battery will cause any damage as long as it isn't touching the bonnet/hood, as for the clamp you will be able to get one very easily from a vauxhall dealership or even a scrap yard for a couple of pounds. - hope it helps - Paul
