UK Car Repair: vauxhall omega air con, vauxhall omega, omega 3

just bought an vauxhall omega 3.0i elite and had to find out that the air con is not working, after getting it filled up the fuse is now gone. sometimes it goes straight away, sometimes after an hour or so... what could that be???

Hello Maik, first of all I would check with the manual to see if you have the correct rating fuse (probably 30a but don't quote me, if you use the wrong fuse it could cause a fire if it is too high. Be sure to check). Then You should check the relay for the A/C clutch, if this is dirty or seized the fuse will continue to blow. If that is okay then it is more than likely the A/C clutch itself, as these can become seized. - good luck hope it helps you - Paul
