UK Car Repair: Fuel starvation Astra Estate 1.4 Lreg Petrol, crankshaft sensor, fuel starvation

Question
My father in law's 1994 Astra Estate 1.4 Petrol was running fine then cut out and refuses to start again. Have tried new Relays. Checked all pipes and changed the in tank fuel pump but it still won't start and is still dry the tank has plenty of fuel also. Any ideas would help/ideas heaps and would be very grateful for it.  Cheers Ste.

Answer
With electronic control cars it is essential to do clear diagnostic fault finding.  No fuel delivery can be caused by a number of sensors or modules, You need to have someone with the technical resources look at it.  Or start by checking the crankshaft sensor!
