UK Car Repair: Battery relase on Volvo s40, volvo s40, negative terminal

please can you tell me how do I remove the battery clamp on a volvo s40 (Sept 2003 Plate)in order to change the battery over?


Answer
I'm not sure how it is fitted, many today have a nut on top of the fitting, if so, you have to undo the nut (turn it anti clockwise) and it will loosen the clamp.  REMEMBER, disconnect the Negative terminal first to remove, then reconnect it last once the new battery is fitted.
