UK Car Repair: Silver Shadow brakes, rolls royce silver shadow, royce silver shadow

Question
I'm so glad to have you to ask, thanks so much for doing this for us. Well a have a problem with the brake system (rolls royce silver shadow 1974) I replace the master cylinder and 4 front calipers, but we are having problems with 2 of 4,both-side front calipers, we are not getting the fluid on them, do you think the problem could be the brake distribution valve? thanks a lot for your attention.

Answer
Sorry for the delay but this is a complicated system and probably too much for this type of forum. First did you do a pressure test of the system to see what pressure is in each?  Assuming you did, then you need to remove the "rat trap" and operate the pedal to see if both distribution valves are actually working -one might be seized-.  As you probably know the front callipers are divided, each half being fed from a different valve. If you did not do a pressure test then you should do it now!  Do the warning lights both operate, ie, come on when the system is discharged then go off when it charges up? Did you do the light test to ensure the lights actually work?
