UK Car Repair: Renault clio stalls when warm, renault clio, electronic problem

Hi I have an automatic 1.4 renault clio (2004) - The car starts fine when cold, but if i have been driving around for a bit, then stop somewhere and then try and re-start the car, it will start up then stall. If I rev the engine for about 30 secs then the engine will stay on and then will drive fine. Any suggestions what it could be and how much it will cost to fix?? Thanks very much in advance.

This appears to be an electronic problem,if so you will need to take it to someone with the ability to scan the on- board diagnostics system.  Is it out of warranty? In any event check with the dealer to see if there is any kind of recall bulletin regarding this issue.
