UK Car Repair: Vauxhall Meriva - Windscreen Washers, vauxhall meriva, water reservoir

I can clearly hear the pump working but there is no water whatsoever coming from the front or rear windscreen washers on my 2004 Vauxhall Meriva 1.4 Design and the water reservoir, which is full,is very awkward to get at to inspect.

Answer
It may have an air lock or something is blocked.  First try blowing through the hose from the pump and see if it is clear - it is a small tube so it will be hard to blow through-. If this is OK, blow into the reservoir while someone operates the pump.  Most systems have a one way valve which stops water fron draining back to the reservoir, yours may be faulty.
