UK Car Repair: Re: Flat battery BMW connumdrum, bmw 520i, tow truck driver

The battery of my  BMW is flat and now I can't even get in the car because the central lockng has no power.  What do I do?  There must be a way to get in else this has got to be a fantastic design cock-up.  Many thanks for your help.

The car is a BMW 520i Tourer 1999.

Hello Marcus, sorry I haven´t answered but I will be in Mexico for another week and don´t have access to my data base. I do know though that many cars have an accessible battery connection.  Look around under the bumpers etc, also a tow truck driver would probably know, Regards. ps, please let me know the result.
