Answer
Greetings! You must do one thing before anything can be done. Install the old radio and see if it all comes back to life. If it does... Call a local audio installer and have it looked at. You may not be the only one who has had this issue. May times, all the items with a digital display are affected by a radio change. Due to this, you will need to contact a professional audio installer to inquire on bypasses needed to make it all work again. My friends Eclipse did the same thing and we eventually had to replace his radio with a factory unit. Displays are not really fused, per say... I would check all the fuses in the panels just to make sure you didn't knock out the controller, but I doubt that is the problem. I believe if you look hard at the digital parts you will see that they are working, you just don't have any backlight. I believe the old system in your car was a BOSE system "notorious for tying in all manners of things that don't make sense". Did your unit have a remote display that was up on the dash? I have seen Vectras and have never seen one with the display in the radio face due to the almost flat orientation of the radio in the center consol. I would suspect that the old stereos system is not satisfied by the system you have installed.
Call the installer or the dealer. Put your old unit back in until everything is figured out.

Happy Motoring
