Volkswagen Repair: car light low beam isnt work, vw passat, battery problem

Question
I have a 2001 VW Passat SDN GLS
Right now, the low beam isn't working.  I had the battery changed last October, so it should be the battery problem.

It thought of stopped working about a month a go , the highlight works well, just when turn on the regular light, you don't see much light comes out and look very dim, and it's hardly for me to see anything at night, I end up have to turn the highlight.

The mechanic checked and didn't find any problem on the wiring system.

Do you have any idea about what is going on with the front light?

Thank you very much!

I want to take the audio device out to change the fuse behind.  Hope this will sovle the problem i had

I want to know if there is a map out there showing how ican take the audio out. And do I need some special tools to take the audio out?  How could I do it?

Thank you very much!!!

Yes Xuenyuan;
The headlight requires a very good, solid ground connection.  If it does get a good solid ground connection it attempts to find a ground through any possible means.  It may find a ground through the other headlight, or a tail light even, but if it isn't a good solid ground, the light will glow dimly.  The ground wire for you headlight needs to be followed, and isolated, so the problem can be located.  Good luck.
