Volvo Repair: 2001 volvo xc aw auto trans, torque convertor, valve body

Question
p740(torque convertor clutch solenoid circuit open) code at 55-60mph. replaced valve body..no change? stays in 5th at higher speed until reset (2100 rpm@60mph). below about 55mph shifts normally without triggering code. garage said software updated and wiring ok?

Most the time is trans bad  not the  valve body  but  email Volvochicago@live.com he has used and new trans at good price . that is the answer  i give you for free what else do you like me to do  fix the car for you , is a free answer if you don't like answer you can all ways pay Somone
