What could be the problem with my 2002 Volvo S-60 Turbo that the dash instrument panel is not working?

A little history:
instrument panel will work sometimes but then others no readings will come up.  When you drive it the dash instrument panel could go out in middle of trip leaving you without any readings.

you can get info here i only answer queston from chicago area but go to this link you find there also you problem is with istrument panel   also on the linkl below you will find link how to do your self the repair and fix your old istrument panel  you cant use used one so you know  . go here ask for enes to help you
