Volvo Repair: key wont go from O to starting position, volvo xc 90, old keys

Hello,

I have a volvo XC-90, 2004 and the key is stuck in the 0 postion.  It will not go into the start position or any other position at all.  I turned the steering wheel several times and nothing is happening.  It seems actually frozen.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  Thank you,  Diana

you will need new ingition lock assembly  if is not working  or hard to move what happens the lock bearings go bad and now you will need a new lock  you will have to order it from volvo it will take few days to get  it will be made so you can use your old keys again . if you in chicago area i can find you help at home .
