Volvo Repair: Camshaft positiong 98 volvo V70, volvo v70, information mark

Question
Is there a way to install the camshaft without the use of the cam positioning tool? I had to have the head rebuilt and now that I am putting it all back together I am not sure what position the camshaft should be in.

  Seth, if you did not mark everything well befroe you took it apart, you are screwed. You will now need the factory repair procedure. Here's one place you can get it, I'm sure there are more. www.alldata.com. DO NOT bolt the head on until you have this information.
