Volvo Repair: 98 S70 T5 electrical problems, jumper cables, fuse panel

Question
Drove the car Sunday and started fine and electricals all worked. Drove Sunday night and car started but none of the electricals worked - radio, power windows, lights, etc. After arriving at home, shut car off, then turned the key on with out starting, and tried all the electricals and they worked fine, but it will not start. Thought it was an ignition switch issue. Switched it out and still no start. Tried jumper cables thinking it might be a weak battery, and no start either. Could it be the ignition module? Not sure what that does.

Answer
Not the ignition module. That only deals with the ignition (spark) system. Look at all the breakers in fuse panel and test. My suspicion is you have a window stuck on (up or down) that is causing the breaker to open when it gets hot(like they are supposed to) and then closes after shut off. (Cooling)
