Volvo Repair: A few electrical issues, volvo s80, 1999 volvo s80

I have a 1999 Volvo S80 and there are a few problems with it, first it started
to give me the message "Alarm System Service Required" and it would flash
the alarm lights for about 2 minutes, with no sound, and then go off. Then
the power lock on the driver's door stopped responding to the remote, but
all of the other doors do, and it also will not respond to the button on the
actual door. And now the sunroof isn't working. I have no idea what this
could be.

   Kerri, there is probably a problem with the driver's door latch or servo/linkage. It contains the "switch" that lets the alarm system know it's locked. Thus the message.
   The sunroof should be a seperate issue. Usually the switch in the roof itself. HTH
