Answer
Walter, check for vacuum and exhaust leaks first. Then test or have the O2 sensorS tested. Do them all and replace as necessary. Be carefull. Excess fuel or air getting into the motor will make the O2's report abnormally high or low voltages. They are not bad, they are working as they should and reporting the output as they should. The real problem may be upstrean from them, causing the engine to be too lean or too rich. They see that as out of range and set the O2 light, when actually it has nothing to do with the sensors themselves. I've worked on hundreds of cars with brand new O2 sensors in them that did not fix the problem or shut off the light. You need to find someone who really understands how Lambda works and has a four or five gas analyzer and knows how to use it! O'wise, the're just guessing with your wallet. IMHO
