Volvo Repair: 1998 V 70 GLT, happy new year, v 70

Hi Roger, thought I would ask before I buy...it has 100k on it. Do you recommend this model ?

Don, yes, this is a good model but it has its faults just like all others.  Be prepared to pay $1000 when the A/C evaporator goes bad and ABS control units.  The rest is pretty much normal wear and tear items.  Brakes and front end parts will fail.  I would hope the timing belt and tensioners were dont at the 70K service.  Other than these items, the car is pretty reliable.  Happy New Year to you.
