Volvo Repair: To whom it may concern, I..., turbo intercooler, volvo wagon

Question
To whom it may concern,
I have recently aquired a 1986 volvo wagon 740 turbo intercooler.  The car had been sitting for a while, I replaced the fuel injectors they were all bad, I was curious when replacing them, do I have to re-pressurize the fuel system manually or does it do it automatically?
Respectfully,
Scott Hicks

Answer
Hello Scott,  The system will 're-pressurize itself while you are starting. It may take a second start the aquire full idle. You should also replace the fuel filter. One qt. of Dextro III in the tank will do her a world of good after such a long nap! Due to Dex's ability to 'remain behind' to better clean and lubricate.Thank you and good hunting!  PKD
