HI Mark, I have two questions. First, My Volvo takes about thirty seconds after the ignition is turned on for the dash lights, radio and power windows to start working.  Second, the trunk door will only lock and unlock if it is manually done while the rest of the locks will open with the keyless controller. thank you, mike

  Mike, check the charging system, battery, and all cable connections for integrity. Next I would investigate the ignition switch.
  The trunk has a broken linkage or a bad lock servo. Possible bad/broken wires where they come through the roof into the top back edge of the hatch.(Sedans have trunks)VBG
