Volvo Repair: DEAD RADIO in Volvo 850, volvo 850 glt, dead radio

Hello, my son left his lights on in his 1997 Volvo 850 GLT, after jump starting the car the radio will not power on.  It will not power on, so the problem is not entering a code, since it will not power on.  I swapped the radio out with a known working radio and it too would not power on.  I check for faulty fuses but found none.

What could be wrong?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Chris, if substituting a known good one made no difference, it has to be a fuse, connector or vehicle wiring. I suspect you overlooked a bad fuse? This may not apply, but some of the radios had tiny miniature fuses mounted on the back that blow. Check it out just in case.
