Volvo Repair: Volvo Transmission 1999 S80, volvo transmission, luck mark

Question
I have a 1999 S80 and of course had the transmission replaced after 58,000 miles.  Did volvo ever provide reimbursement of take responsibility for this problem ???

  Ronald, Out of warranty was taken on a case by case basis. I do not believe they ever provided reimbursement unless the repair was perfomed and documented at the dealership. Basically, whomever bitched the loudest and persisted, got some help. Contact Volvo of North America and t/to the regional rep. for your area. Good luck!
