Volvo Repair: Transmission Drive instrument panel light blinking, mode selector switch, instrument light

How do you do? I own a 1993 Volvo 850 GT which has the yellow drive instrument light blinking at all times. This light is on when in winter select transmission mode. I tried to retrieve the fault code and to reset the light, but I couldn’t. The fault code in memory is 1-2-2, and I don’t have a manual to tell me what is the problem. Could you tell me the problem and if I can reset the light by using the “A” module reset under the hood.

Julio, This is a common problem on the 850.  you need to replace the PNP switch on top of the transmission as well as the mode selector switch.  You may want a Volvo shop help you with this repair.  The light will not reset until this switches are replaced.  Roger
