Volvo Repair: taking out airbag to fix horn, contact reel, steering wheel

I can hear a wire loose inside steering and need to fix horn.. The signal lights also, they come on but it doesn't click back automatically after the turn is complete. I need instructions on taking out the airbag.  I have my t30 torx screwdriver

Well you better be prepared to buy a new contact reel because thats what sounds like the problem.  You need a long torx 27 socket, not a 30 screwdriver.  You forgot to tell me the year and model of your car so I will assume its and older model.  Taking the bag out is simple.  Turn the wheel to one side to access the hole on the back of the wheel.  Loosen one side then the other.  bag will come out.  remember to put the screw in the contact wheel before you remove the steering wheel.  Any other questions, let me know.  Roger
