Volvo Repair: Volvo rear brake change, channel lock pliers, hub assembly

Question
I have a 2002 V70 Crosscountry AWD. I need to replace the rear brakes, pads and rotor. Can you give me a run thru of what needs to be done. Thanks

Answer
Mike, those are pretty cut and dry.  REmove wheel, use screwdriver to pry pads back a little.  12mm socket and 15mm wrench for lower caliper bolt.  Flipup and remove pads.  Use big channel lock pliers to squeeze the piston all the way flush.  Now remove rear brackett 13mm bolts.  put caliper assebly towards the back or use a hanger to hold it up on the rear spring.  Remove 10mm rotor bolt. Use a hammer to tap the rotor off.  Clean and lube hub assembly with anti seize. The rest is in reverse.  Any questions please feel free to contact me again.  Roger
