Volvo Repair: Rattle from underneath the car, v70 glt, wheel wells

I have a 1999 V70 GLT. There is a random rattling sound like a cable under
tension and banging around in the wheel wells and under the car.  I have had
the dealer look at the problem but of course it doesn't happen when they test
drive it and can't find anything amiss. I happens only when in motion and a
bump can bring it on, only to have the noise disappear the next time out.

Darcy, Im with the dealer, If I dont hear it, I cant help you either.  This is one of those things that is not a common thing that I can say "oh yeah, thats the so and so part doing that" Sorry, but this one needs to be further investigated by a Volvo shop or dealer.  Roger
