Motorcycle Repair: gas in oil and flooding, excess fuel, specks

Question
HI, I HAVE A 1996 ZX600E NINJA. IT IS A GREAT BIKE WITH ONLY 4000 MILES. LAST SUMMER IT STARTED FLOODING AND WHEN I DRAINED THE OIL IT CONTAINED GAS. I WAS TOLD TO HAVE THE CARBS CLEANED WHICH COST 300.00 AND MY PROBLEM DID NOT GO AWAY. IT DOES GREAT COLD BUT WHEN WARM STARTS FLOODING AND LABORS TO START. PLEASE HELP THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

Answer
Sounds like the needle and seats are leaking.Turn on the gas and look inside the carbs. If you see gas coming from the main jet of the carb (were the needle on the slide goes into the carb )Replace these and make sure the float hight is to specks. Also check your plugs if they are suttee black it is excess fuel.
