Volvo Repair: 1996 Volvo 960, 1996 volvo 960, volvo repair

Question
I recently acquired a used 96' 960(86,000 Miles). It's was running fine until the check engine light came on and it's been running rough.  I took it to a Volvo repair shop and was told I needed an Ignition Coil Pack and a tune-up with air and fuel filters($495). Do I really need both the Coil Pack and the tune-up?

Answer
Karlin, I would say yes to the coil and the spark plugs.  The fuel filter is probably just an upsell.  Still a little high on that price though.  They may be wanting to do a Major service since its close to 90k miles.  If that is included then its not a bad price.  Whose shop is it? Roger
